Stevedoring and Terminal Operations

The Gloucester Marine Terminal is operated by Gloucester Terminals LLC  and offers stevedoring and break bulk services.  The terminal, located in the Port of Philadelphia has direct access to highways as well as three rail lines that transit across the United States and Canada, providing unrivaled turnaround times for our partners.

Warehousing

The Gloucester Marine Terminal offers 25 million cubic feet of refrigerated storage, 650 reefer plugs, 1.1 million square feet of dry storage (200,000 square feet of food grade), and an on-site U.S. Customs and USDA inspection facility.

Fruit Services

Providing cold storage, cold treatment, forced air cooling, ripening, repacking, expediting and refrigerated logistic services. The terminal follows USDA Plant Protection and Quarantine standards and is Primus, SQF level 2 and FSMA certified.

Steel Cargo

Throughout its operational history, Gloucester Marine Terminal has handled a wide array of steel cargoes including steel coils, stainless cargo, rebar, slabs, pipes and tubing, plates, sheets, and wire rod — anything steel, they have handled it.  Each of the four modern marine terminals, including Gloucester, have been built to provide the best possible protection for weather-sensitive dry cargoes.
